Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information thrillzin handles, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Effective July 25, 2026

The short version

thrillzin uses account, profile, location, activity, event, post, message, media, and device information to operate a social planning service. We do not sell your personal information. Your visibility settings control important parts of what other people can see.

1. Information you provide

Depending on how you use thrillzin, you may provide:

  • Account details such as your email address, phone number, handle, name, date of birth, gender, and authentication providers.
  • Profile details such as your biography, interests, photos, profile visibility, and what you are open to doing.
  • Plans, events, activity posts, captions, tags, invitations, interest responses, attendance choices, and other user content.
  • Direct messages, plan chats, interest chats, media attachments, and message engagement information.
  • Reports, support requests, feedback, and communications with us.

2. Information collected when you use thrillzin

Location

With your permission, thrillzin may access your device location to show nearby plans and events, calculate distance, or apply location-based participation controls. You can use a selected city instead of current location for discovery where available. You can change location permission in your device settings.

Device and usage information

We may process device identifiers, operating system and app version, language, IP address, session information, notification tokens, crash information, and interactions needed to secure, maintain, and improve the service.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, personalize, and maintain thrillzin.
  • Rank and recommend plans, events, posts, and accounts based on relevance, interests, timing, location, and social context.
  • Deliver messages, invitations, activity updates, reminders, and notifications.
  • Enforce visibility, audience, participation, blocking, and safety controls.
  • Detect abuse, moderate public content, investigate reports, prevent fraud, and protect users and the service.
  • Diagnose problems, analyze performance, and develop new features.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

4. Public and shared information

Information is shared according to the audience and privacy controls attached to your account and content. Public profiles, public plans, events, posts, and selected profile fields may be visible to people who are not connected to you, including guests. Content shared with connections, friends, close friends, participants, invitees, or chat members is limited to those audiences as described in the app.

People who can view content may capture or reshare it outside thrillzin. Choose audiences thoughtfully and avoid posting sensitive information you do not want others to retain.

5. Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers for infrastructure, media storage and delivery, maps and place search, email and phone verification, push notifications, authentication, safety tooling, and content moderation. These providers process information on our behalf under their own contractual and security obligations.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, prevent harm, investigate abuse, protect rights and safety, or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of the service.

6. Moderation and safety

Public profile fields, plans, events, posts, tags, links, and media may be reviewed by automated systems and, when necessary, people. Private chat content is handled differently and is generally reviewed only when someone reports it or when required for safety, security, or legal reasons.

7. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to operate thrillzin, maintain account and safety records, resolve disputes, comply with law, and enforce agreements. Retention varies by data type. Some transient data, such as verification codes and temporary sessions, expires automatically. Backups and safety records may persist for a limited period after deletion.

8. Your choices and rights

You can use in-app controls to:

  • Edit profile information and field visibility.
  • Manage location, notifications, messages, and privacy settings.
  • Block or mute accounts and report content or behavior.
  • Review and remove active sessions.
  • Request deletion of your account.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information. Contact us to make a request.

9. Account deletion

You can request deletion from the app under Settings → Account → Delete account. thrillzin currently uses a 30-day deletion window. Signing back in during that window may cancel the request. See our account deletion page for details.

10. Children

thrillzin is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us.

11. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong password, protect your device, and report suspicious activity promptly.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as thrillzin changes. We will post the revised policy and update its effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or through another appropriate channel.
